Shelter
During your integration into the house, a worker will welcome you and your family. Afterwards, our workers will make sure you integrate into the house by introducing you to the other residents and staff and taking you to your room.
Public awareness
Our initiatives to prevent domestic violence help raise general awareness of the various forms of violence, including verbal, psychological, sexual, economic, physical or social violence. In addition, our awareness activities influence individual factors of violence such as knowledge, attitudes and relationship skills.
Training
The Pavillon Marguerite de Champlain offers a training session entitled: “Intervening in a cultural context”. It is given in different contexts: community or professional. Our information sessions allow practitioners to better understand the techniques and methods of intervention in an intercultural context.
External services
External services are offered in post-accommodation follow-up as well as to women in the community who do not wish to be accommodated. We offer different options to victims of domestic violence.
